For 4 days (November 16-19) the National Platform for Electric Mobility (PNME) gathered together over one thousand participants and national and international experts to discuss the subject, paths and opportunities for Brazil. The agenda highlighted the goals assumed by Brazil in the Paris Agreement, in which it is committed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 43% by 2030. It is also a health issue. According to WRI Brasil, it is estimated that air pollution in the main metropolitan regions and capitals of the country is linked to 20,500 deaths per year due to cardiovascular and respiratory diseases.

Among the panels and subjects discussed at the 1st PNME Conference were: the creation of a National Plan for Electric Mobility, synergies between electromobility and the energy sector, paths for professional training in electric mobility in Brazil and the green recovery, among others .
