Every Monday and Wednesday, between 19:00 and 21;00, until July 4, the online course “Black Women building the Future with Climate Justice” is taking place. It is being organized by href=”https://criola.org.br/”> Criola to expand the participation and political advocacy of black women in the debate on the climate agenda. The course has an intersectional approach distributed over 11 modules to explain in depth the causes and consequences of climate change, suggesting paths that consider other groups, such as black women. Among the subjects are environmental and climate racism, the impact of climate change on motherhood and reproductive health and the national and international strategies to combat the problem. In all, 30 places were offered to black, cis and trans women, young and old, who currently receive a monthly grant of R$ 200.00 to attend the course.
