ClimaInfo and iCS worked together with the press and social networks to divulge articles and information in Brazil and abroad, and increased the online participation of the events
In a year of elections and the World Cup, the climate agenda showed its importance with the significant expansion of the media coverage of the Brazil Hub at COP 27, in Egypt.
With the collaboration of dozens of partners who built important content, ClimaInfo and iCS worked directly with the press and social networks, divulging articles to the national and international press and also to the social networks. The result was an increase in the online participation of the events, wide press coverage and the sharing of posts on digital platforms. According to the social listening tool Digimind, there were 2,900 mentions of the Brazil Hub in November, with more than 83,000 interactions and an estimated reach of 1.6 million people.
Despite discarding the “Lula factor” present at the COP, the debates held at the Brazil Hub achieved wide coverage in the press and significant engagement on the social networks.
