Climate Week in Salvador is coming. On August 19-23, the capital of Bahia will host the annual event for Latin America and the Caribbean, organized by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). It precedes COP-25, which is scheduled for Chile in December. Its main objective is to generate engagement between public and private sectors, cities and municipalities, and academia and civil society, in order to discuss the climate emergency and promote opportunities to discuss specific actions to combat greenhouse gas emissions.
