The INPUT (‘Land Use Initiative’) programme has built a strong base of political support among agribusiness for the Forest Code, a key piece of legislation that mandates conservation and restoration in private lands and worked with ministries, the private sector and the judiciary to advance its implementation. This extension aims to safeguard the Forest Code policy framework and work towards a strong low carbon agricultural policy.
