To address the problem of high subsidies to fossil fuels in Brazil, the lack of transparency and the lack of assessment of their impacts on tax collection, production, job creation and the environment. Through research, public debate, and stakeholder engagement, the project will contribute to the debate on fossil fuel subsidies by engaging the Congress and the Accounts’ Court on the theme, as a problem to be measured, evaluated, and reformed.
