The project aims at analyse why the Manaus Free Zone tax regime is affecting a more efficient room air conditioning market in Brazil. The purpose is to propose ways to mitigate this barrier and to promote a wide discussion with major stakeholders about it. This project envisages to take advantage of the current discussion about tax reform to promote real changes in tax incentives for ACs.
