The project foresees a diagnosis study of air quality and heat islands and connect with the health of the residents of Maré, a community in Rio de Janeiro with about 140,000 people. The research will involve young residents who will receive a scientific iniitiation scholarship. In addition, the project proposes a public pedagogical intervention to strengthen the environmental debate in the region.
