UTOPIA NEGRA
Utopia Negra Amapaense
Communication and Engagement
The project intends to create a space for socio-political-environmental education and campaign in the peripheral territories of Macapá, mobilizing, as leaders, the Mães da Favela – mostly black women – to build a peripheral urban agenda of resistance, and for a dignified and sustainable life. The neighborhood of Congós, a flooded area of the capital Macapá, is the starting point for such actions.
