ITDP Brasil has launched a publication with complete information about how cities can make the transition from diesel to electric-powered buses, with tips and suggestions

Electrification is the most effective technology to zero polluting emissions and to guarantee a service with greater comfort, efficiency and safety. Furthermore, it is also the most democratic way to reduce the risk of contracting diseases related to air pollution and to promote social and climate justice for the population. ITDP Brasil prepared the publication “From Santiago to Shenzhen: how electric buses are moving cities,” with the objective of helping Brazilian cities with information about contracts, the preparation of pilot projects, financing, and bus loading, among others.
