Promoting the discussion and the debate about energy justice and efficiency within Rio de Janeiro communities. All this in a current scenario of a critical increase in energy tariffs and the risk of rationing, which will fall disproportionately on the low-income population. This was the central theme of the Energy Justice series, published in the first half of 2021 by RioOnWatch. It used research, reports, illustrations and videos to address the issue from the point of view of the favela residents in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro.
