The international seminar “The Role of Energy Efficiency in Low Carbon Economy in Brazil: Challenges for the commitments of INDC” will take place in Rio de Janeiro on September 27th. The event, which is free and open to the public, will fill an important gap: a more serious and profound debate about the potential of energy efficiency. The lectures, which will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, will count with the participation of experts from the International Energy Agency; the IPEEC-International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation; BNDES; Banco Santander and the EPE, which is promoting the event in partnership with the Institute Climate and Society – iCS, as well as representatives of the Ministry for Mines and Energy, the International Energy Initiative and the Climate Works Foundation. The seminar will be held in the EPE Conference Room – Avenida Rio Branco 1, 9th floor – Praca Maua – Rio de Janeiro.
