A new phase of the project begins that links Amazonian producers with traders in Belém. Amazonian Laboratory for Belém works with five local organizations

Strengthening the agroecological food sales link as a way to leverage production and consumption with a potential to restore ecosystems. This was the central theme of the opening of the “Amazonian Laboratory for Belém,” which is an event that took place in the capital of Pará in April. The Laboratory, which will take place throughout 2023, is part of the project carried out by the Institutos Fronteiras do Desenvolvimento and the Instituto Regenera, with support from iCS. It will implement good practices of fair and transparent trade to five local organizations, based on co-created guidelines in the first phase of the project. They can be accessed in the Guide of Good Practices for the Sale of Agroecological Foods.
