The research group Green Bonds do Sul (a project included in the Propriedades em Transformação [Properties in Transformation] network) invited academic and non-academic experts to attend the Conference on Financing of Sustainable Development in Brazil. The intention was to share research and case studies with respect to the forms of financing for the green transition that can be implemented in Brazil. The workshop, organized by the Brazilian Center of Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP), included seven presentations from Brazilian and international academics concerning ‘Financing for sustainable development’ and ‘Green Financing.’ Caio Borges, the coordinator of the Law and Climate Program of iCS, participated in the panel “Public and private experiences of green financing” and contributed, from the legal perspective, to the debate about climate financing.
