The future of the Brazilian electric sector depends directly on demand side management, based on a more flexible approach in the planning of the expansion of the transmission system. It must consider the ability of the consumers to adjust their consumption to the conditions of the sector, including the use of energy efficiency practices in this package. This was the assessment presented by the technical coordinator of E+ Energy Transition, Clauber Leite, in a meeting with the team from the Federal Accounting Court, which is performing an operational audit to evaluate the planning process for the expansion of the national electrical energy transmission system.
