Julia Norat, a lawyer from the portfolio of Climate and Law of iCS, was one of the panelists at the seminar “Climate Change: an interdisciplinary approach,” which took place over two days in Brasília. Climate justice, socioenvironmental disasters, and governance and combating deforestation in the context of climate change were some of the discussed topics. The panels were attended by leading professionals in different areas of the climate agenda in Brazil, including judges, members of civil society organizations, prosecution offices, and organizations of indigenous peoples, among others.
