The last Sustainable Dialogues of the year took place on November 27. The international meeting on Climate Change and Free Trade, organized by iCS and the German Embassy in Brazil, discussed, for example, the perspectives of the NGOs and governments of Latin America and Europe, with Alvaro Cedeño Molinari (Permanent Representative of Costa Rica with the WTO) and Sascha Müeller-Kraenner (Executive Director and CEO of Deutsche Umwelthilfe – nature, environment and organization of German consumers). The Brazilian perspectives were another issue under analysis, with Gilson Spanemberg (fellow researcher at Global Union Development), Maureen Santos (coordinator of the Program Environmental and Social Justice at the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Brazil), and Yana Dumaresq (Special Deputy Secretary of Foreign Trade and International Affairs at the Ministry of the Economy).

This was the 10th International Meeting promoted by the Dialogues. The others, which can be accessed here , have discussed Climate & Young People, Climate & Employment, Climate Litigation, Climate Change & Maritime Transport, Climate and Health, Carbon Pricing, Climate and Safety, Transport Decarbonization, and Long-Term Development Strategies and Climate Change. All the videos, photos, texts and interviews are available here!

The issues related to the theme do not end, and we are looking forward to seeing what 2020 has in store for the Sustainable Future Dialogues . Stay in touch!
