The initiative seeks to train schoolteachers in villages in the Legal Amazon

The first phase of the program “Standing Amazon in Indigenous Schools” involved 10 schools and more than 900 young people over three months in the nine states of the Legal Amazon, providing contributions to the movement to combat climate change and the protection of the region. By 2026, the proposal is to reach 150 schools in villages, quilombos and extractive reserves with mentoring, mobilizations and teaching materials.
