Racial equity is a fundamental value of the Institute for Climate and Society (iCS). Therefore, one of our objectives as an institution is to strengthen the network of black professionals who are working in the areas that are related to our agendas. This initiative arose with the collective PerifaConnection. The objective is to map professional profiles for possible opportunities of experiences and qualifications that will be useful not only for iCS, but also for all our partners.
The mapping areas correspond to our program areas:
ENERGY
LOW CARBON ECONOMY
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
MARITIME EMISSIONS
CLIMATE LITIGATION
TRANSPORT
CLIMATE POLICY AND OUTREACH
LAND USE AND FOOD SYSTEMS
ENERGY TRANSITION
In addition to these more comprehensive subjects, the areas of communication, philanthropy, and technology are also open for indications. If you know of any professionals – who declare themselves as black – in the abovementioned areas, please send this link and this form to help in our mapping.
