Good news for journalism students throughout Brazil: in partnership with iCS, Agência Pública has launched the Mobility Microgrants, inviting those interested in investigating the subject.
Subjects such as public policies of urban mobility, public transport, traffic safety, and impacts of the forms of mobility on the environment, among others, were welcome. In all, five grants of R$ 5,000.00 will be distributed, as well as mentorship by the publishers of Agência Pública to produce the reports.
Marcel Martin, the coordinator of the transport portfolio at iCS, considers the initiative very important because “it will provide important portraits of Brazilian urban mobility, which needs to advance quickly on the path towards environmental sustainability.”
