The Urban Laboratory of Public Food Policies, a project of the Food for Tomorrow Institute, has received new international recognition as an important strategy to promote the transformation of local food systems. Ipes-Food, an international panel of experts regarding the transition to sustainable food systems, cited LUPPA, in its report “From plate to planet: How local governments are driving action on climate change through food,” as the only experience of the South Global in support networks for cities on the topic.
