Annual meeting of the largest network of Brazilian civil society focused on climate change, promoted coordination and planned its participation in COP 30

Members of the Climate Observatory (OC) met in Brasília, on May 28 and 29, during the annual meeting of the largest network of civil society for climate issues in the country. Currently, 120 socioenvironmental organizations use the space to combine voices and actions that aim to confront climate change, encourage political engagement and promote climate justice. With transformative dialogues, the meeting, which was held at Contag, highlighted the strength and resistance of family farming, the popular movement and agroecology. It promoted coordination and strengthening, in addition to presenting the strategic operation of the network in the forthcoming years, especially taking into consideration the preparation and holding of the COP30, in Belém (PA).
