In December 2020, the Energy Research Company (EPE) opened the public consultation for the 2030 Ten-Year Energy Expansion Plan (PDE 2030), with a final date of January 20. iCS and E+ Energy Transition participated actively in the process, sending contributions to highlight the need for the final text of the Plan to clarify aspects ranging from the adopted methodological premises to the lack of vision about the needs of an outlined trajectory for the low carbon energy transition. Among the clarifications of the document sent by iCS and E+ to the EPE and the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the following passage is highlighted, as an example:

“There is a complete absence of the transition movement that is taking place in the energy sector worldwide, where fossil fuels are giving way to new renewables and the decoupling between economic growth and energy demand is a factor of competitivity.”
