On September 12 and 13, the members of the Philanthropy Network for Social Justice met in order to outline their strategic plan for the next five years, and to define the priorities for 2020. The Institute for Climate and Society (iCS) also attended the meeting.

“Created in 2012, with the objective of promoting and diversifying the philanthropic culture in Brazil, the network strives to guarantee and extend the resources devoted to social justice, human rights, and citizenship. Consequently, iCS considers it as a key area of exchange with other grantmakers. In addition to raising funds from various sources, the 11 members of the network also promote activities designed for the institutional strengthening of civil society organizations and groups”, Luiza Souza – institutional development and partnerships manager of iCS
