The National Platform for Electric Mobility (PNME) is an initiative that connects over 30 institutions from industry, government, civil society and academia. Its first infoletter contains news and information about the electric mobility sector in Brazil and worldwide. One of the main news items is that the Committee of Science and Technology is planning a series of webinars about electric mobility in the areas of economy, health, innovation and the environment, with the aim of developing and disseminating information and arguments.
In the Bus Electrification Work Group (WG), the members have shared projects being developed by their institutions – one of them is ZEBRA, coordinated by C40 and ICCT to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission buses in the main Latin American cities. Created in late May, the WG members have concluded the preparation of four documents for higher education disciplines that include current content demanded by the productive sector. The documents will be presented to educational institutions.
