Activities were carried out with the support of a project by the Vitória Amazônica Foundation (FVA) in partnership with the iCS, which aims to help the work of local residents and the sale of their products

Regional product fairs in the cities of Novo Airão and Barcelos, held in November and December, involved fishermen, farmers and extractivists from the Unini River. At the events, products of local sociobiodiversity were sold, such as farmed pirarucu (which was successful and a highlight), flour and Brazil nuts. The fairs were supported by the project “Sociobio in School Meals – promoting the community resilience of the Unini River,” carried out by the Vitória Amazônica Foundation (FVA) in partnership with the Institute for Climate and Society.
