iCS grantees are guests at a parallel event to the G20 to address social issues and human rights in energy production

The social dimension of the just and inclusive energy transition was the topic of a webinar held by the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) with the support of C20, the official civil society engagement group of G20. Revolusolar, FNPE, Frente de Consumidores and the Climate Observatory, all iCS grantees, participated as references on the topic in the two days of debate. During the panels, there were dialogues about the central points of the social dimension within the scope of the Energy Transitions Working Group of G20 Brazil 2024, in particular about the access to energy, fair pricing, decentralized generation, social impacts, human rights, social participation and governance.
