The meeting brought together more than 10 organizations and mapped the main violations of the environmental, climate and human rights in the region, in addition to the adopted legal strategies

 More than 10 organizations that are based or operate in the states of Rondônia, Roraima, Amazonas and Mato Grosso, in addition to the Federal Prosecution Office (MPF) of the Amazonas, reflected on the violations of socioenvironmental and climate rights in the Amazon territory and aligned joint actions seeking creative legal solutions. They met in Manaus for the second meeting of the Legal Network of the Amazon, entitled “Meeting regarding Strategic Litigation for the Defense of the Amazon.” This mapped out the main violations of the environmental, climate and human rights in the region, in addition to the legal strategies that are being used versus those that should be used.
