The Socioenvironmental Platform, a program developed by the Brics Policy Center (BPC), has published the 37th edition of the Socioenvironmental Radar, which presents selected parts of the interview conducted with Lício Caetano do Rego Monteiro (adjunct professor of human geography at the department of geography and public policy at the Fluminense Federal University, from the Institute of Education of Angra dos Reis – UFF/IEAR) for the 3rd edition of the Uncomplicated Medium Podcast, both items in partnership with iCS. Lício, who has a master’s degree and a doctorate in geography from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), answers questions relating to Brazilian environmental policies and the Amazon Council, a subject that is always relevant, especially in the current context of forest fires.
